Heide Lange

With over thirty years’ agenting experience, Heide’s books reflect her passions, her background, interests and life stages. An art major in college, her first bestseller was the now-classic book on creativity, Drawing On The Right Side Of The Brain. Heide represents worldwide bestseller Dan Brown, the author of thrillers such as The Da Vinci Code, Inferno, and The Lost Symbol, as well as bestseller Brad Thor, author of Black List and The Athena Project. As the agency’s vice president, she is also interested in books that analyze and guide the changing roles of women in business, such as Swim With The Dolphins. She has represented books covering a broad range of fiction and serious non-fiction, including health and sexuality, psychology, family and parenting, social issues, nature and environment, journalism, history and biography, memoir, science, self-help and general reference. Heide specializes in working closely with clients who have a compelling perspective, unique voice, and who offer fresh insight on important topics that enhance people’s lives personally, intellectually, and socially. She has a gift for creative negotiating and achieving long-term royalties. She is married to a writer and has two children.
