Cylin Busby is the co-author of The Year We Disappeared: A Father/Daughter Memoir (Bloomsbury), a memoir about the year she and her family spent under police protection and in hiding from their Massachusetts community. The book was made into a TV special and was awarded a Cybil for non-fiction in 2008. Cylin is also the author of several other books of fiction and non-fiction, including the series Date Him or Dump Him; and is the editor of the YA short story collection First Kiss, Then Tell (both Bloomsbury). Before turning to writing full time, Cylin was an editor at Teen magazine, and at a major children’s publishing house.
Cylin recently published a teen thriller/romance, Blink Once (BLoomsbury), the story of a boy who wakes up in a hospital after an accident and finds himself visited by a girl who is as mysterious as she is seductive. She is now at work on a two-part gothic horror story, The Incantation of Savannah Bell (Balzer + Bray/HarperCollins).
Cylin Busby lives in Los Angeles with her family.
